"My first impression of Dr. Newman was very favorable. It seemed that anytime his name was mentioned, people talked about how wonderful he was. This was from patients, nurses, pharmicists and other doctors. He made me feel very comfortable about what I was doing and always answered all of my questions. His staff was also warm and re-assuring. There was nothing to dislike about Dr. Newman. He expects you to follow his directions to the letter and he does have an aftercare program. I attended counseling both at his office and at a psychiatrist's office where the risks of surgery were addressed and I was not allowed to schedule surgery until I was healthy. I would rate Dr. Newman at A plus. Although both surgical competence and bedside manner are important, it just makes sense to prefer the surgeon who will perform most excellently."
