So Excited.. The count down has began.. I have only 8 more days until my surgery. Aug 15th 2013 Can't wait. I feel like I've been waiting for ever for this. I've been working on getting this surgery for almst over a yr. Can't believe it is finally coming... :)

Thank God. I've been waiting for ever to be approved it seemed. Of course it wasn't but still I'm very impatient want things done ASAP. Even though i know i can't . I was so nervous being it was Medicade  that i had to approve me for this. Yes finally it has happen I have been approved for the Gastric Bypass RNY yes yes yes.. I'm truly excited.. Pre Op is Aug 12-- and Surgery is Aug 15---

So I have been waiting since May 23/24 for them to approve me! Well im very persistent and of course I call so why is it that my insurance amerigroup hasn't received it! Spoke with my new advocate and apparently she has been having some trouble with amerigroup getting our info!! I'm going nuts thought I would at least be getting ready to have surgery some time this month!! Ugh!!

I'm 26 I weight 350 lbs. I have struggled with weight loss since I was very young back 6 th Grade around age 10-11 yrs old. I have always been on the Larger end of everything. I course as I have gotten order I have tried numerous diets that have worked and then stopped working. It was as if I would always hit a Plateau. When I was 17 I was offered to do the Gastric Bypass. However I wasn't financially able to drive so far for the apt. So I just canned the Idea. So Last year around Nov. 2012 again was brought up with my doc.  she/he states that it would be a great Idea for me to loose the weight that way. I finally took up the offer. I then Went to the Seminar in Nov 2012. By end of Nov Early Dec. 2012 I had went to my first apt. With Peachtree Bariatric. They then provided me with the Road Map to Surgery. I have finally completed the Road Map April 28 th. It was along 6 month process. I was so excited that I actually didn't have to pay for anything except the Nutritionist  visit witch wasn't but 25 dollars. Thanks so my Advocate Charleen she was such a wonderful person to walk me through this. It is now May 14, 2013 and tomorrow they will be sending my info to the insurance company. I will then be waiting on there response. I've very impatient so I know I will be giving them a call in the middle of that week.. If any one needs any help and has the Amerigroup from Ga i Can def. try to help you as much as I can.
