I was taken downstairs for my swallowing test. A few minutes later being return to my room, I started gagging and could not breath. Sounds came out of me I never heard before gasping for breath. They called a code and the place went nuts.They said slow down and stop breathing to hard for the air to enter. Well........I was ready to passout and started to do what they asked. It helped but did not stop it totally. Got up to my room and it started again. They put me on full oxygen, which help and put something in my iv. That really helped, After all was done. I was told I had an esophogial spasm. They think it could have been what I drank. What a scare! I sounded like a honk that would not end.
