doing well, sill keeeppping it off today I wight 166 lbs.. very close to goal,
Started back at curves its been about a year since I stopped, but Im so happy to be able to start it back up....
Im working full time, so its not going to be easy, but what is..... I know I can do it...
So I have a total of 174 lb's......128 inches....... 113 boby fat...

1-17-09 WOW, WHAT HAPPEN TO 2008?

SO ITS BEEN A WHILE AND I HAVE BEEN THOUGH ALOT.. HAD MY WIGHT LOST SURGERY ON AUGUST 20, 2007, 1 YEAR AND ALMOST 5 MO. HIGHEST WEIGHT 340, TODAY 168.
ON DECEMBER 30TH I HAD SURGERY THEY FOUND AND INTERNAL HERNIA AND A TWISTED BOWL, DOC SAID IT WAS 180 DEG. TWIST.
SO NOW I HAVE A LARGE SCARE RIGHT DOWN THE CENTER OF MY BELLY
. ABOUT 6 1/2". THE SURGEON WAS NOT THE ONE THAT DID MY WEIGHT LOST SURGERY, HE GOT UP AND LEFT TOWN WITH OUT A WORD.
THAT WAS NOT GOOD NEWS. I WAS RE FERD TO DR ERIC SCHLESINGER, WHO PUT ME ON NEXIUM TO HELP THE PAIN IN MY BELLY, TOLD ME THAT IT SOUNDED LIKE AN INTERNAL HERNIA, BUT HE HAD TO GO IN TO BE SURE BECAUSE IT DOESN'T SHOW ON CAT-SCAN, BUT IT WOULD HAVE TO BE OPEN SURGERY BECAUSE HE DIDENT KNOW WHAT KIND OF MESS HE MIGHT FIND, SINCE HE DIDENT DO MY ORIGINAL SURGERY..
WOW I DIDENT WANT TO HEAR THAT..SO ANY WAY TUE. WELL BE 3 WEEKS, MY BELLY IS TENDER UNDERSTANDABLE,
I HAD TO START TAKING NEXIUM AGAIN BECAUSE MY BELLY WOULD GET UPSET, AND BURN AFTER I EAT SOMETHING FOR ABOUT 1/2 HR.
SO NOW I'M NOT TO LIFT ANYTHING OVER 5 LB FOR 6 WEEKS,
THAT MAKES IT IMPOSABLE FOR ME TO WORK SINCE I' M A CASHIER FOR SAMS CLUB.. I'M NOT EVEN SURE I'LL HAVE A JOB BECAUSE I'VE ONLY BEEN WORKING THERE 4 MO, AND THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T HOLD MY POSITION,
SO NOW WHAT....SO HERE WE ARE IN 2009, I SURE HOPE IT IS A BETTER YEAR, I'M GOING TO DO MY BEST TO BE POSITIVE, EVENT THOUGH I FILL LIKE CRAP, NO ENERGY, AND JUST NOT SURE HOW I FILL ABOUT THE CHOICE I MADE TO HAVE THE WEIGHT LOST SURGERY?????
I REALLY HAVE TO KEEP PRAYING FOR STRENGTH AND GUIDANCE.I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL YEAR AND GOD BLESS..

So today is a great day, Ive been having some pains in my belly for about a week, went to the emergency, what a waist of time after 9 hrs a cat-scan, blood test, they dident know what is the problem... What a surprise... But today I dont have the pain so I'm happy... It would come and go, but sometimes it was so bad it would give me chills.. Who knows, anyway no pain today GREAT.. So I'm still hoping to lose about another 50-60 lbs.. Even though my Mom says I should stop. Hope everyone is having a great day.. hope to get some new pictures up soon... Take Care..

SO its been one year since surgery, and i I wish I was under 200, but NO!!! But I am 205, not bad, but I still have a way to go...
So I hate that I have been snaking, I really need to stop! I dont think I lost anything for about 6 weeks. But I dident exercise and I dident eat right.. SO WHAT DO I EXPECT?
Its up to me I know...
So any way Im working to part time jobs, thats a good thing, Im alittle tired, but its all good.. Ive started drinking liquid life, a vitamin drink, I found at Sams Club, its been almost a week, I think its working...

so its been a few months since I loged my wonderful secsess, so here I am...
Im going to be ( 50 ) years old, I made it and filling wonderful... My knee is getting stronger everyday, Im working some, still going to Curves about 2-3 times a weeek, but I am walking my dogs about 30 mins a day.
It's going to be 9mo. on the 20th since my surgery and I have lost a total of 119 lbs.. Im at 222.5 as of this morning... I still have a way to go but it really fills like I can do it, thanks to the tool I now have... I need to take some new pictures soon......

So today is 6mo, I weighed in at CURVES and got my measurments, I'm 249 lbs, and down 53.75 inches, thats up from what the Drs scale said but they weigh without shoes.. I weigh in on the curves scale all the time so I go by that weight.. So I'm down a Total of 92 Lbs...
Now I want to be under 200, there is a light at the end on the tunnal, I can see it, its there, just have to reach for it, because I have the tools and will to get there...

6 Month check-up

So today 2-14-08 was my 6mo check-up, even though the 20th is my anniversy date... I have to go all the way to Phoenix, it's 460 miles round trip, WOW I really wish I dident have to go that far... I wont have to go for anothe 6 mo now...
So my weight was 247.5 on there scale..
August 10 I was 341.. befor the liquid diet..
August 20 day of surgery 331.51 - 10 lb
September 4th First appointment 312.51 -19 lb
October 4th Second appointment 297.01 -15 lb
Feb. 14th 2008 6mo appointment 247.51 -50 lb
TOTAL 94 LB 84 SINCE SURGERY
I was happy the Dr wasent upset that I hadent lost more. He said I was doing good, blood work was ok except for Iron, so I need to see my Dr, and get it though an IV, at the hospital, not though pills because it wont absorbe well enought that way.
He also said that once my knee is better and I can get back to working out everyday, the weight should come off faster... We'll see, I sure hope so..
So for now I guess I'm on the way to being the BIGGEST LOSSER I CAN BE!!!!!!!! LOL

So it's right over 5 months and I'm now today 254 lb's..... My highest weight 341... WOW I'm so HAPPY...I have had some problems with food, meat is still not my best friend...
I had my knee replaced on 12-15-07, and it has been one bumpy road, but I fill I'm doing alot better it's just taking time...
I go for my 6 month appt. 2-6-08.. Not looking foward to seing the surgeon, because I dont think he's going to think I lost enough.... but I"M HAPPY AND STILL LOSING, SLOW BUT STILL LOSING..
I never did lose fast so it's no surprise...
I do need to take some new pictures maybe tomarro...

It's been 26 days, almost 3 weeks since my knee surgery I'm getting around better, but my knee is still real stiff when I first get up. I've been taking sleeping pills to fall asleep, I just cant sleep with out them. I hope this well all change soon.
I see the knee surgen Feb, 6, and see bariatric surgeon feb 11th.
I have been losing some hair, not to happy about that but It was expected, I just dont have much to start with.
I have been having proublems eating, nothing sounds good and when I do start eating, its a few bites. I can eat about 3 crackers and cheese, or peanut butter. I can eat nuts so I do because I fill I need something.

Alot has happen, I had a total KNEE REPLACEMENT, on Dec the 15th. abut 2 weeks ago.
So I have achieved one of my goals!!
It's coming along, theropy is hard, but I gade to have it since I cant go work out until Feb. 6 weeks.
I'm still losing.
