Well lets do the readers digest version of my story :-) I graduated college in 2003 at a healthy weight, and was a competitive swimmer all through highschool and college. Apparently I felt I could still eat the same way when I graduated and just take out the exercise portion of my day. Well in 6 short years and a couple of long term relationships (where I got comfortable) I gained a considerable amount of weight. I packed on close to 100 pounds before I said okay Erin you need to do something. I went to my first weight loss seminar in October of 2008 and started my journey. Over a year later on November 9th, 2009 I have Roux en Y gastric bypass surgery, by far the best decision of my life. I have lost almost 110 pounds to date and couldn't be happier. I have had a failed relationship due in part to the surgery but more due to the fact that my whole life (ie. eating and exercising habits) are changing, and for some change is difficult.  I don't regret a day of this journey and every day I wake up excited for the day that lays ahead of me
