Today was my first post-op appointment.  I lost 10 lbs - a pretty good start I hope!  I also had the 20 staples removed.  Now my belly doesn't look like it has braces.  ;)  Today was the first day I didn't meet the protein requirement but tomorrow is another day.

I am on Day 5 after surgery.  My mood has finally leveled out.  I was getting worried about how depressed and apathetic I was feeling.  I stopped taking the liquid vicodin the other day and I think that has helped.  I rather have some level of physical pain then feel so disconnected from my head.  I HATE that feeling!  I've been doing well with my fluid and protein intake.  Looking forward to being off the liquid portion of the diet progression!
