My sister is a nurse at the hospital where Dr. Bell operates, and directed me to him as someone she had a great deal of respect for. She ran into him recently, and told him of all the physical and emotional changes for the good in me, and he expressed his personal fulfillment in knowing that this surgery does so much for his patients in so many areas of their lives.
I have been to see him monthly, and for the past 2 months have checked in with his nurses for B12 and weigh-in. I see him in October, and am looking forward to it.
I cannot say enough about him. A truly skilled and caring physician. I have nothing negative to say. This man is immersed in his patients' well-being. During my first visit, pre-surgical, he was stern, and gave me all the possible complications, including the psychological about not being able to eat in quantities that I found comforting -- a very insightful comment. That was the last time he was ever stern, and I appreciated his directness. "
