"Dec 09 Update: I had a small refill this past year in July (2 and half years after surgery, no leaks), only .2cm of saline added. I have been at goal and maintaining. Dr. Spivak and staff have continued to supportive, and my experience has been excellent over the almost 3 years since lapband surgery.

There aren't enough kind words to say abut Dr. Spivak and his team at the office. Staff were friendly and took time to listen and answer all my questions. The seminar was casual, attended by Dr. Spivak's former patients sharing their experiences. Most of the staff took the time to visit with me and some remembered our conversations on the phone. Dr. Spivak himself is very knowledgeable, and took time to go over the different weight loss surgery optiions. He outlined the benefits and risk. I felt much better informed after his seminar. At the consultation, Dr. Spivak was genuinely interested in my questions and concerns. He took the time the answer each one. On the day of surgery, he met me before the surgery to check on how I was doing. And again after surgery in the recovery room he stopped by to check on me and see if I had questions. The office has called on me since I have been home. Nothing but the best from this surgeon."
