Getting Closer

Well it's been awhile since i've updated. I start my 9 day liquid diet on the 31st. Then I go for pre-op on the 3rd of June. Thats when I get all my blood work and stuff like that out of the way. Then the BIG day June 9th the day my new life begins!!!
Everyone keeps asking me aren't you nervous? I think i'm really more excited. Now don't get me wrong there's that little part of me that is saying are you doing the right thing here? But my heart is is telling me I am doing exactly what i'm supposed to be doing. So i'm good with my decision. To all my friends that i have met here thank you for all the support you guys are great!!!

I finally got a date. They just called me June 9th is the day my whole new life will begin. I am so excited and scared I can't even put into words. So i'm just going to leave it this simple YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow it's been quite awhile since i've updated. Well I'm half way through my 6 month supervised diet. I've had all my testing done. I go to the Dr. tomorrow so that gets me another month closer. they told me their looking at sending my case over to the surgeons around Feb. So i'm getting there. I'ts actually going by really fast. So i'll check in after my appt. tomorrow. Wish me luck!!

Well had my 1st informational meeting yesterday. Thought I would be able to make my 1st appt. but no go. You have to first see if your ins. covers wls which I can totally see. Then you have to get your medical records from your pcp and a letter of support. Which while I was waiting for this info. thing I could have been getting my records but anyhoo, thank God I just happen to have an appt. with my pcp today. Anyway so the ball is rolling!!!! Hopefully it won't take long because until they get my records I don't get an appt. ugh!! But in a way I can see their point it's to weed out the ones that aren't serious I guess I don't know. I just hope I get an appt. soon. Let ya know.

Well just checking in. I want to thank all my new friends that I have met here on OH who I've been talking to hopefully you knoe who you are LOL. You've given me some great informationand support which Ireally NEED right now love you guys for that. It's going to be a looong month waiting for my appt. I can tell you that. Well all i've been doing is collecting as much information as I can about this Dr. Hill and about this surgery. My husband tells me that I pay attention more to the computer than I do to him now LOL!! But I still have over a month to wait just for the informational meeting thats a looong time to wait and think. I know I am ready I reached this surgery before about 2 or 3 years ago but really really in depth I don't think I was ready then because I was only thinking about what people thought about the way I looked. Now I could really care less but I have MANY co morbidities so i'm doing it for my health and if end up looking great at the end well thats an added bonus!!! I will let you know

Well I will be going for my first informational meeting with Dr. Hill on May 27th. I'm Very scared and excited all at the same time maybe it's because I'm not quite sure what to expect out of the first meeting. But i'm sure glad i'm GOING!!! I'll let you all know what happens.
