I'm 58 yrs old. I have been married 40+ yrs. The kids are happy and healthy, out and about so it's my husband and myself plus my three "boys" consisting of 2 papillons and 1 cocker spaniel. I love my boys and love to travel. It had been a rough year last year. My husband had total knee replacement ( after our trip to Greece, he injured his knee in Santorini.) That was in May and by November, he had surgery. My weight has been up, down and up again. If this was ever going to change it needed to be done now. My mom is diabetic and I've seen what that can do to your body. Simply speaking, I just didn't feel that good and reality set in. Now or never....I still want to travel, enjoy the simple things in life and live.
