I got the cpap machine.  I don't like it.  They said the goal was to wear it 4 hours and then build up.  I wore it 4 the first night and then took it off at 2 am. I didn't wear it at all last night.  I just know I won't need it anyway in a few months!! But my husband sure does!! 

I never thought that the end of the school year would come so hard for me.  I am not afraid of my surgery, but I really hate to say goodbye to my little ones on Monday.  I never, ever thought I would get so attached to them!

Wow.  The last thing I had to do for my RNY was today.  Follow up from my sleep study....and?  I have sleep apnea...who knew?  They hemmed and hawed about it and wanted to drag out the apnea stuff for another month....which would change my surgery date. NO WAY!! It is TEN days from now!! There is NOT A CHANCE I am changing it!! So, I worked it...rather I ARGUED for an hour with the sleep lab until they scheduled my 2nd sleep study for Monday night AND promised to read my results on Wed. and my follow up is THURSDAY!! Then, my surgery can go on as planned!! I was determined! I just HAD to get it done!! ANd?  I DID! I feel very upbeat about the whole thing now. When he told me, I initially felt very.....anxious and upset...like it was a stumbling block in the way of my surgery.  NOT SO!! A way was made and it looks like I am going on!! CAN'T WAIT!!

I may post on this site...but I normally post on www.livejournal.com.  My username is the same there. I am just figuring things out on this site (for instance, I didn't even know this page was HERE until today) As I get more friends, I will post more here.
