Cyndi - What a wonderful surprise to find such a lovely and inspiring message from you...Thank you, so much! I am just finishing four weeks of MediFast - 8 more to go. My doctor is having me fast for the 12-weeks leading up to surgery so in a way, the adventure has already begun. I have lost 28 lbs. the first 3 weeks on it ...and still losing! Thank you also for the tip about having our own blood stored in case we need it. That is a very good idea and I am sure that I am going to look into doing just that. Awwwwwwww... You're definitely a sweetie!!! I just wanted to thank you for your kind words and the inspiration I receive from all of you post-op on the site. Hello Cyndi! I just wanted to thank you for your kind words of encouragement. Though my surgery date has changed from 1/9/06 to 2/6/06 I am still excited and anxious to get it done.
