Cyndi - thanks for the well wishes on my upcoming surgery -- your page is amazing. I really like seeing the Spencer W Kimball quote! I haven't quite figured out how to do postings the way you have done but I'm a computer geek so I should be able to figure it out. I will be thinking of you on the 13th - I'll still be in the hospital but will have you in my prayers too. Take care, Debbie L

Thank you so much for wishing me a well surgery. There was very thoughtful of you. I had the surgery on Wed. and was discharged from the hospital last night. Unfortunately I still am not feeling all that great. My stomach is still really bloated and I still haven't passed gas, which is killing me! I have been walking a ton and doing everything I have suppose to been doing but nothing is working! Do you have any ideas???

Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement. I read your profile and have to say that you are an inspiration and truly look remarkable. July 11 is the big day and boy am I nervous. So nervous in fact, I have been having panic attacks the last week or so. I feel fine today though, so hopefully they have passed for now. Good luck with your upcoming hernia surgery, I will keep you in my prayers. Once again thank you so much for writing me.

Thanks Cyndi for your welcome and kind words. And how wonderful your off all your meds, hopefully I will be off all 15 of mind, funny I used to wonder about 10 yrs ago when I was still working as a nurse in the hospital how people could take that many. lol, Now its me taking them all. I also have Fibromyalgia hoping losing this weight will help with some of that pain also. Thanks again Abby

Hi Cyndi! Thank you so much for your thoughtful message and encouraging words. It really means a lot to me. This is definitely a scarey time for me. Other than my husband, a friend, and a co-worker (her RNY surgery is scheduled for July 12th!), no one else knows. Things are starting to pick up. Yesterday, I had my nutritional training. It was quite an eye opener! I have lots to do to get prepared! (i.e., buy pill crusher, vitamins, and protein mixes,etc.). I've already purchased a Magic Bullet for grinding up my food - it works great! Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers! Theresa C.
