Update. I had my weigh in on September 9, 2005 and have now lost 155 pounds. I can eat almost everything as long as I keep my quantities down. My latest bloodwork came back fine too!

I had my 3 month weigh in and have lost 71 pounds! I was told this is average, but I'm very happy. My food is going well and other than some constipation I've only vomited once with no other side effects to date! My cpap has been lowered from 18 to 14 as well and I'm generally feeling much better.

I had my first weigh in and my staples out. I lost 24 pounds (or 5%!) in ten days. Totally wild. My next appointment is for February 7 and my goal is to match that and lose another 20 pounds! So far so good. No dumping or vomiting and I've had my first egg, crackers, and even a breaded veggie nugget. Everything is happening very quickly. My energy is holding well too and the nutritionist took my off of the Calcium pills! One day at a time.

I had my surgery on Friday the 19th and am home Monday the 22th! I'm still stunned. Just wanted to say hi!

My surgery was bumped from the 15th to the 17th and now to the 20th! Mary from the Doctors office has been amazing and supportive. Hopefully Friday will be a go and I'll be back posting updates next week. Thanks to all who've posted here and emailed!

It's been a crazy weekend. Time is just going so fast. Thanks again to everyone who's posted here. I found the chat room here too and have been checking that out. I'm very lucky for all of the support I've been getting. Today I'm visiting with family and friends and Sunday will be a quiet rest day. My food has been good this weekend too. I haven't been overeating although I've been tasting some things I know I won't be able to eat after. If everything works out I'm hoping to do my first update by Thursday!
