2 years Post Op
Jul 14, 2010
I received an email saying congratulations on my 2 year anniversary. I can't believe I actually forgot. I guess that says a lot. My life has completely changed. I am still focused on maintaining a healthy life. I still think about my food choses on a daily basis. I am now looking forward but I will nevery forget what got me to highest wieght ever.Behaviors I still do:
I still do not drink while eating even for an hour after I eat.
I (for the most part) choose healthy foods.
I still mainly eat solid proteins.... I love steak.
History of the weight lost...
January 09 - 6 month post op... I hit doctors goal at 159. So I lost 70% of weight need to loose. So I was down approx..70 pounds.
July 09 - 1 year Post Op... I hit my weight loss goal of 137!!! Woo Hoo
July 10- 2 year Post Op... I am still at my goal of about 135. I wear a size 4 for the most part. Amazing!!
In between July 09 and July 10 I lost more weight but I put some of it back on... thank goodness. I had lost a little too much weight. With the help of my diatician I put some back on and am maintaning with adding healthy fat into my diet.
If you are looking to loose your weight. I wish you the best and hope you find a good diatician and surgeon to help guide you. All I can say is listen to them. Don't snack. I am so thankful that I was able to break that habit for the most part. I think it is esential to change the habits while you are not "hungry".
