"THIS IS ABOUT THE SURGEON I HAD, Dr Allan Huffman.His office has been telling me for 2 months after I met all his requirements(which i did) that my surgery would be in June, no problem. Last week they gave me a surgery date of June 17th and made me an appointment with Dr Huffman to finalize the details such as bloodwork and meeting with the anesthesiologist. Imagine my total shock when he told me that he wasn't going to do the surgery because he wasn't 100% sure medicare would pay!!! They have known all along that I was on Medicare and there is no preapproval for medicare!!!! I have wasted 2 months on a Doctor who had done surgery on me before and that I trusted. He spent all of 5 minutes with me today telling me no way. "
