Yippee.... I am sooooo excited!  My surgery date has been set for Jan 5th.  Not only that but I am retiring at the same time.  So after my surgery, I will not be returning to work.  2009 will be such a change for me....a whole NEW beginning with my weight loss and retirement.  People ask me..What are you going to do all day?  I just answer....go to the gym and play World of Warcraft all day.  Who knows what I will do.  I've never been retired before but I am certainly looking forward to finding out how I will spend my day.  One thing I know for sure is that my ex-mother-in-law and I are planning a road trip to Virginia to see my eldest in the spring.  My husband will be on his own for a few weeks. (He's a couple of years younger and still has to work).  But he will manage.  Dr. Broussard and his staff have been so supportive and so positive.  They always make me feel good about myself even when I am discouraged.  But we finally made it!!
