Yummy recipe-Chicken Smothered

Trying to find new ways of cooking my protein.... I found smothered chicken...delicious. I usually have a hard time with chicken breast meat now, I find the dark meat is easier to digest. But I know the white meat is better for me and most people like it better. SO I found this recipe and decided to try it. I changed it so it have less fat, and the flavor was still sinful. 

Saute 8 oz of mushroom caps in 2 TB sp of olive oil, I added in a bit of garlic and one pat of butter for flavor.
Once almost done push to side and add in four small boneless chicken breast, cook 15-20 minutes until done. Remove from pan and place in a warm oven.
Add in 1 and 1/2 cup of low salt chicken broth, let simmer for three minutes
Then add in cream cheese-low fat 8 oz. melt and stir as it melts, sauce will thicken
Add in 1 to 1 and a half teaspoon of basil, I also added a bit more garlic chopped

While this is cooking remove chicken from oven and slice, and arrange on plates top with the sauce and mushrooms
A bit of parsley for color,,,less sauce for me more for those not concerned with weight.
I served it with a side of broccoli, but you could also do a salad

This was a meal I could serve to company with some warm rolls-I just wouldn't eat the bread of course. I think you could make ahead and warm in oven also...the sauce kept the chicken moist and I was able to eat the breat meat much easier.
