Im sorry I havent posted in a while but was not feelin this band thing. I didnt go the dr. in May skipped appt. because was sure I had failed well had an appt. for the begining of June call cancelled and rescheduled it for the end well to make a long story short went and get this lost 5lbs dont know how but i did. Dr. was pleased it was 5lbs of fat no lean muscle. I have now lost a grand total of 72lbs and I feel pretty good about that. I also enjoy shopping in the misses and not the plus. Well my next goal is to break 200 and i guess if I work hard it will happen.

Hello everyone this was not such a good month for me im really srugggling with head hunger so my dr. gave me a RX for phentermine. I havent had them filled yet so I was trying to avoid that but it looks like I need something to get over the hump. I went for my 4th filled 3-20-08 and was down 8lbs bringing my total loss to 55lbs. I guess that pretty good but this month I have exercised more and have had less results. Whats up with that? Im going to the dr. again on the 17th of this month and I know that i havent done that well not even sure if i have lost any weight at all this month. I will wait and see this week when i go if not im filling RX . I had a goal i was trying to reach by mothers day not gonna happen at this rate. Ok end of pity party just feeling a little bombed.

Hello to everyone. Im sorry havent posted in while but mostly just been lurking around. I didnt  feel that I much to say since the weight wasnt falling off like I wanted. I now feel better about things and have some what come to grips with this process. I have had many NSV too many to list. I now reflect back on them when I think im not doing well. My surgery was 3months out on 2-28-08 and I am down 47lbs. I had my 3rd fill on 2-24-08 started out with great restriction not so good now maybe fill #4 will be the magic one. My next visit is 3-20-08 hope to be at 50lbs or more wish me luck!

Well I did it first fill today. It started out ok and then BAM!!!!! it hit me my surgeon put 5cc in my 10cc band for my first fill not a good idea. I left the Dr. office was gone maybe 15 or 20 min and I was sick I couldnt even swallow my on saliva it was terrible I first thought maybe I just need to relax but not so I couldnt even take a deep breath without sliming I called before I left town since it was 30miles from were I live and I went back to Dr. and she took out 2ccs now Im thinking she took out too much. Oh yeah 27lbs gone bye! bye!

Hello everyone Im sorry I havent posted in awhile. I was banded on Oct 28
im 3wks out and have lost about 22lbs some was lost during pre-op but i thank God for it. I dont really see anything but I returned back to work on the 10th and I was approached by several co-workers who said Frances you
losing weight what did you do while you were off for all that time. I told some of them you just havent seen me in a while but they werent buying it. I must say everyday since someone makes a comment. That feels great!! My DH and children say we see you all the time so we can just see your clothes are hanging that hoe we know. I hope to lose 3lbs by christmas and 5 or 6 by new years day. Wish me Luck!!!!

11-12-07  Ok the count down begins I have 2 days left to eat real food my liquid diet starts on wed. I will miss Thanksgiving Dinner but Im still thankful!! I am scheduled for surgery November 28th @ 9:00am I would like for everyone to start or continue to pray for me. I thank God for this blessing
and I just want the world to know I find know fault in him!!!!

I just cant give up now. I definately dont believe he brought me this far to leave me. I am excited about my last visit with Doc on Monday WOOOO!!!!
WHO!!!!!! 10-15-07 after that its all about the wait game. I will make sure I let you all know whats going on on monday but in the meanwhile PRAY!! PRAY!!

Well went to my fifth visit today lost 7lbs. I felt good about that because I have been low-carbing . I know my pcp was so happy. I have one more visit left
10-15-07 wish me luck. Oh Yeah today is my B-Day! (9-21)

Hello to everyone I want you to know that Im on this site almost everyday but havent posted anything because I didnt have anything
good to say. I up to my fifth visit went to dr. on 8-22-07 havent lost a thing but javent gained either. I suffer with arthritis in my legs
and my left knee and ankle. I have really been having a time with
that lately so my exercising has not been regular. I have to do it when I can. I was hoping by the time we had our Pastor and Wife anniversary that I would be down some but as you can see on the
pics no such luck. I was really  shame of how I felt like I looked even though everyone was saying I look nice.  I can stess it enough how scared i am about having this surgery(Lap Band) and it want work. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired!!!! My next dr. visit is on the 24th two days after my b-day maybe
it will be better. 

July 25th went to Dr. havent lost a pound but my pcp said it was ok I burst into tears when they weighed me. Then to top it off went for psych eval she said I had low self esteem. Imagine that. I surely hope I dont be the one
person who gets banded and dont lose a pound. Im really trusting in God 
to help me.
