G'morning Fredling - a little birdie (in the shape of a gorgeous redhead, think the name mighta' been Pinalope? :) ...mentioned your upcoming surgery and I wanted to be one of many to send you positive thoughts and well wishes. I know you already know this, but with all the successes that came Pinalope's way, from hard work, determination, research and just outright tenacity - you have an AWESOME 'example and resource' in how to get through this life changing event, happy, healthy and thinner! I suspect you are experiencing a range of emotions right now. The week before my surgery I was on a natural high, almost a euphoric state of mind. I couldn't believe I was getting that "second" chance ...to LIVE life again. I wish you all the success and happiness that comes with being healthier and thinner. Just remember your overall attitude plays a large role in your recovery, keep it POSITIVE and ask lots and lots of questions. This is a new learning experience for all that choose WLS and we draw so much from each other. There can be a few challenges along the way, but no worse then sitting on the sidelines - confined by our overweight shells. You're about to break free, enjoy and embrace all the wonderful "moments" that come with this journey. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for a successful and uneventful surgery. ....................... "The key to happiness is dreams, the key to success is making those dreams come true"
