My story...hmmm let me think. well as long as I can remember I have been obese (husky, chunky, fat, big boned,etc...). My childhood I was always the butt of the jokes when everyone got bored. I had to learn to fight pretty soon in my child hood or continue to be the bully's fat-boy play toy. Kids can be so cruel.
Fast forward to Jr high school. It wasn't enough to start being conscience of my weight issues, then I fell in love with one of the most beautiful girls I had ever seen. She was in the 9th grade. Chi-Chi was FINE as hell... and she liked me, at least I thought so. I was probably the only person in the school who didn't know she was playing with my mine. Until the day I saw her with "gator". The meanest dude on earth. He had been in the 9th grade for every bit of 3 years. I walked up to her to give her a gift and they both laughed at me. She said "this is the fat bastard I told you about. He wants me to be his girlfriend." I turned and walked away and then he ran up and punched me in the back of my head. This was the day that I turned the tables on any and everyone who I thought had a problem with my weight. They had to get 3 teachers to pull me off of this guy. The knuckle head reputation begins...
As some of my friends, family (and officials) may see this site, lets just fastforward to college. I realized I could augment my looks with football & weightlifting. I was buff... but life will take your fluff and turn it to jiffy puff. lol... Then after 2 sons, 1 divorce, 3 car accidents, lost of many good friends (some to drugs, some to aids, some to the streets) , lost of my father and mother and many close relatives; these will help add the years and pounds on you. All the while the weight is there weithing for you. I have learned that being this way all your life does help, in a way. You learn to mask the shame, pain and hurt. You learn to avoid the places you cant (figuratively & literally) "fit in". You learn to "do unto others before they did it to you." You learn the more you lose, the more you gain.
