I have been obese all my life. I have thought about getting WLS for about 8 years. I actually got very close several times, but it didn't feel right. I guess I wasn't really sick and tired of being sick and tired. At my current weight of 340, I am finally sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I would get right up to the point of getting ready for surgery and something would happen. First, my mom got sick, and I had to take care of her. Second time, my husband deployed and I couldn't see me taking care of myself after WLS. The third time I almost got there, I found out I had to move. Couple all of this with one of my beloved furbabes dying of cancer. I just couldn't handle another hitch in my giddyup.
