Well I guess I will start with my name.... that would be Jennifer. I am 30 years old and I live in Gridley, CA. I am married to a wonderful man named Dan and we have the cutest most loudest dog named Paulie. We have struggled with infertility for the last 3 years. We have tried EVERYTHING including IVF. Nothing has worked. I have FINALLY come to the decision and sad realization that my weight really could be a factor. I was so dead set against that because there are plenty of women out there my size or bigger that has gotten pregnant and had healthy babies, but I am not one of them. I decided on the Gastric Bypass because I can lose usually about 30 - 40 pounds (nowhere near my goal weight) then gain it all back. I have been overweight since I was 5 years old and I am so tired of this up and down struggle. I need this surgery to help me handle the day to day struggle with keeping weight off. I hope in the end of all of this I will also have a beautiful baby, but even if I do not, the one thing I will have is my LIFE back and that is something that I could never pass up.
