BOY, when your family can COOK!!!, It's trouble!! Casseroles, Meats, Cakes, waffles. oh, did I type Meats? Just thinking about it makes my arteries stiffen. My family moved all over the Northeast USA. Born in New York (Brooklyn) to New Jersey to Upstate Ny., Kalamazoo, Michigan(Yes there is a place called Kalamazoo) to Boston, Mass. Detroit then Baltimore. I've been heavy most of my life. Asthma made it hard to be active sometimes, but all this didn't really bother me. Girls would be cool with me and maintained my confidence then I would be reminded I was bigger than average by some knuckle-headed dude with an axe to grind, looking like Magilla Gorilla with a crooked leg and an eye patch with non-human biological parents, (no offense Larry) but I digress. (lol)
When I moved to Detroit from Boston I asked my mother "what the #e!! she was thinking moving us to Beirut" (ok. in my mind I said that. Ma would have knocked me back into Christmas without presents nor bus ticket). New Jack City was Beverly Hills compared, but I grew to like the place except for the thin body obsession there in the '80's. "just play your Rick James and shut up" I'd say. I was a lot smaller, but I wasn't J.J Walker so, I wasn't Dyno-mite but cool enough.

Moved to Baltimore and it was all good, easier in acceptance in my weight until I got with a women who LOVED to cook (cheesecake and Ribs) and would get depressed, pissed, almost violent if you didn't eat it. Two years and 100lbs. later, I hardly recognized myself. Of course I was wrong not watching myself and not pushin' that plate away, the table for that matter and not unplugging the freakin' microwave.

Did the Atkins thing and lost 80 lbs in 9 months. but gain it all back in about 5  (hate new math). I felt I was in good health then Sleep Apnea crept in like O.J in Vegas then that glucose level SUDDENLY blew up(Oh Hell naw!!). I have friends that did the Gastric By-pass all but 1 had some serious issues and with my family history of intestinal complications, Flavor Flav was more attractive then that.

Through this Journey, I met this BANGIN' chick that I eventually married. I think she's SO attractive no matter what her weight might be, but she's harder on herself then the world is. So, when her friend came around showing off her VSG results, LIGHTBULB!!! So, We're both doing the VSG shuffle with the insurance companies and the doctors. "Don't eat this to the left, Pay to the right,...crisscross!" Please wish us luck! Gettin' Banana-ed hopefully B4 summer!

P.s Take offense, I meant all that stuff Larry.
