Well, needless to say from the last post, my last insurance battle failed.  I have since changed insurance companies and even though this one also has an exclusion, Dr. Syn's office tells me that they HAVE approved some surgeries.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  I've got an appointment with my General MD on Tuesday and we begin the battle again!

In April I had requested an override to the exclusion in our policy.  We found out last week that my husband's employer never contacted the insurance company but made the decision on their own.  SO, we have sent information to the insurance company and are awaiting a decision.
