"I attended the WLS seminar in which Dr. Schmitt was speaking. Right away I had complete trust in him and his staff. Just a feeling I had and I had heard such great things about the whole MCE staff. He did an awesome job. GREAT surgeon. However, my only problem was that I havn't seen him since the morning before surgery. His associates visited with me while in the hospital and when I went to have my staples and drain removed the nurse practitioner did it. I'm sure I will see him at my 3 month check up, but I think it would have made me feel alot better to have seen him. Don't get me wrong.... I love the man. He has essentially saved my life."
