I'm a 42 yo single mom of two daughters. VSG surgery on 27 June with Dr. Prashar. Kaiser Permanente of the Mid Atlantic Region. On the day after my VSG, my sleeve became twisted and Dr. Prashar and I decided to move forward with Gastric Bypass, to hopefully avoid further complications. Ironically, RNY was my first choice, but my Surgeon didn't feel that I had enough co-morbidities to warrant RNY, so in the end, I got what I wanted!
