Gail, thanks so much for sharing your surgery with your kids. I think the more educated kids are about these things, we can teach them to be more accepting of everyone, no matter what we look like, what color our skin is etc...I think your kids are lucky to have you for there teacher! Mari Seattle

hi gail i went through osu for my rny i had it in jan4 2002 and started at 338 and have lost 130 so far and feeling wonderful you will get a date after your first appointment with the surgern. i had dr needleman

Gail, I just bought mine last week. It is made by Rival. They have 2...one that is $20 and one that is $40. Did you ask someone to help you? When I bought mine, it was in a promo aisle right as you walk in the store. Good luck.....this is a very wise investment! Stacy Spieker

Hi Gail, I had to get cardiac clearance before they would set up my date for surgery. I had to see a specialist and he ordered a stress test. It came back normal and he gave me clearance. It did not take long after that to get my date set up. June 13,2002--WooHoo. I hope that you get your clearance and a date real soon. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. {{{hugs}}}

Thank you for the sweet comment about my pictures. I am about 20 lbs from goal but that is my personal goal. I would be happy if I stayed at this weight too though! Once again thank you so much and I wish you the best of luck on you journey.
