I wanted to wish you well with your upcoming surgery. I hope that all goes well and that you are up and out and about real soon. I'll bet you are are doing a happy dance accompanied by a bundle of unwanted "NERVES", but don't worry be HAPPY! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Good Luck!

Hi Glenda and Welcome to AMOS. Do you have a pulminologist? If you can get clearance from him regarding your surgery and the COPD, your surgeon should accept that. However he might be that strict. I have COPD and my Pulminologist cleared me for surgery, He thinks it would help to get the weight off and that would also ease my breathing. Keep on fighting, God Bless
