Well as you all know i had RNY on 8-3-09 and i am recovering well. i have lost 93 pounds as of todays wiegh in.  i am excited and happy as i am losing it well, but i have not lost in 2 weeks so i am afraid i have reached my first plateau.  i have to got o surgeon for my 6th month checkup, i was really hoping to have met the 100 mark but i am glad that i am this close.

Just wanted to post a note to say hello and i am recovering from RNY.  My surgery date was August 3,2009 and it was not one of my greatest days.  I know that there is pain involved and i know that once i recover things will get better but these first few weeks are enough to kill a person.  I am on pureed foods and i have been going nuts trying to find things that are worth eating.  I came across some great recipes on another website (theworldaccordingtoeggface.com) and i am so excited to try them.  i hope now that i have found some support on these sites i wont feel so alone.
