I just logged into tricare to check and see if Ive been approved.  Ive been logging in every night to check.  Well, Ive been approved!!!!!  Now I need to find a surgeon and center.  Oh I hope this happens quickly!!!

Well, Ive moved.  I now live in San Diego and my insurance has changed.  Thank goodness!  My physician is so supportive and seems to be one of the few that believes that this is a disease and Im hoping to hear back from my insurance next week.  I cant wait to have this done.  Ive decided on RNY.  Dr Wetter was my surgeon in the bay area but wont be who I select down here obviously!  I havent picked yet and Im still researching.

Today I met with the surgeon.  He actually thought that I was here to follow up on my surgery that he did in august.  I had an adrenal tumor removed by him then.  We discussed the procedures.  He doesnt seem to direct me in either direction.  Im not sure if I want lap or rny.  So I will continue to explore both.  Bad news is...my insurance doesnt cover any of this   It has me down but not out.  It does me delaying things a bit.
