Dear Gina: I just wanted to tell you, I am 2 weeks pre op today, and you are right, it is the strangest mix of emotions ever!!!! ANXIETY, HOPE, JOY, TERROR, EXCITEMENT, NERVES, DETERMINATION. I think we are perfectly normal to go through these jitters. We will be ok. The way I am coping is to keep myself very very busy, and just go until I fall into bed. That way I don't dwell too much. I do read this site a lot, and it makes you feel better and worse at the same time doesnt it. Anyway, take care, and if you need to talk, email me and we'll chat. HUGS
