"My first impression of Dr Hong was that he is knowledgable, compassionate and confident. This has borne out over time. He is both surgically competent and has a good bedside manner. He is respectful of his patients and cares about our outcomes and quality of life. He can come across as \"glib\" but that is the only negative thing I can say about him at this point. The only thing negative to say about his office is that some of the girls who work the front desk are somewhat immature and can be difficult to work with. All the rest of the staff--the medical assistants, Cami the insurance coordinator, Chelsea the scheduler--are fantastic. Dr Hong and his office staff, and the Legacy Obesity Institute with which his office works, all emphasized aftercare and do an excellent job of explaining it & its importance. The program is structured and is a Center of Excellence. All surgical risks were addressed at length. I did not meet the other two surgeons in this practice but had an excellent overall impression of Oregon Weight Loss Surgery LLC practice."
