Insurance Woes

Okay so today I spoke with Nancy (an RN through Blue Care Connection) who will be my patient advocate. We talked about 30 minutes about why I want the surgery, and my many health problems. She set some goals for me and will be calling me again in a month to see where I am with those goals. My goals are:
To see a physician regarding my blood pressure and for medical clearance for surgery. She told me that if my PCP suggests a blood pressure cuff at home to contact her and that my insurance will cover that completely and send one to me. She wants me to really try with the blood pressure medication (it always makes me feel funky). She also wants me to work on my cholesterol. So I will kill 2 birds with one stone and get that all worked on here in the next week.
We then had a conference call with Sylvia with customerservice who said that although "obesity" and "weightloss" are exlusions, Morbid Obesity is NOT an exlusion, so baring that I can provide what they would need documentation wise, I should be able to have the approval. I need to get:
All medical history including supervised dieting, years I have been obese, list of comorbidities, letter from psych, nutritionist, and pcp and gyno describing the medical nessessity for surgery. Then my surgeon will need to write something up and then we will send it in and hopefully get an approval.
