The bharadwaj, sunbirds and the koels are saying ‘hi’
While the aches, pains and diseases are saying ‘good bye’
UKA is a hospital of a different kind
Cinerous vultures and loten sunbirds here you will find
The chirping birds and the evening prayers are lovely to hear
You’ll forget all this when you come for enema and face your fear
The calotes and the garden lizard will headbang everyday
“keep walking! Keep walking” is what the doctors always say !
The rat snake and the checkered keelback live in the field, I’ve heard
This place is full of weird people – some morons and few are nerds !
I am reminded of Lalbagh gardens when I see the flowers around
The attentive ears and observant eyes will always surround !
Don’t get disheartened by grumpy heads and sad faces
Btw, the library here is one of the best places !
