4/8/03 went to the group meeting with Dr. Barba, the first step to get this done. Met Dr. Barba very impressed with his knowledge and demeanor. Am not happy with the amount of time it is going to take to get to the surgery. Patience is a virtue, I guess. next step is going through their list of referrals, pulmonary,cartiologist,physc(i will be nuts by the time this is over)and then back to the Dr. and praying no ins. problems. I believe that the Lapband is going to be the way to go for me.
