Everything's going good with my surgery. I had my pre-op appointment with Dr. Wilson yesterday and then went to Memorial Hermann for my anesthesia clearance. Got some extra money needs sprung on me, but I'm going to do whatever to make it work. My insurance is covering everything but the 10% co-insurance of $695. I worked out with the hospital to do half now and be billed for the other half. So far everything is going smoothly. Dr. Wilson set my pre-op weightloss goal at 19lbs, so he was really happy to see that I had lost 31lbs. Since I did so well. they okay'd me to get to eat Thanksgiving dinner as long as I didn't go crazy. LOL!! Now I'm back on liquid diet till Sunday night. I keep thinking that I should be more nervous, but I think it's still kind of not real for me. It probably won't seem real till Monday morning when I'm getting prepped for the surgery. I'll let everyone know how things go as soon as I can next week.
