I came home yesterday, feels good to be home.  Kids and hubby are very supportive, even my son who had knee surgery on the 17th!  No problems with surgery at all, went well. I had them take out my gall bladder even though there were no stones I just didn't want to deal with it later on down the road.  But boy - was it hard to get comfortable enought to sleep for more than 10 min!!!!  The nurses kept laughing at me because of all the pillows I had under & around me.  They kept Saying it looked like a White Sale!!! Anyway, I am home, feel pretty good, am walking as much as possible too (Rainy weather here)

I am so excited, nervous, scared, so many different feelings right now!!!!  Not looking forward to the colon cleanse tomorrow, but I am so close to surgery I can't help help but still be a little excited!  My 10 day liquid protein diet was a success - not 1 cheat!!! I only lost 6.6 pounds though!  Aargh!!!!!  i guess that just reinforces why I am getting this surgery - I can't lose weight without permanent help!!!

The insurance gal at Park Nicollet called me yesterday (Saturday) to let me know she got a message from Aetna, they have approved me after only one week!!!  I am sooooo excited!!  I need to call and make an appointment for my final Surgeon appt & the final dietician appt to get my 10 day liquid diet, other things that I'll need to do/follow before & After surgery.  Thy said it could be as soon as 2 wks up to 6wks before the surgery.  Anyway - it's approved!  I was so worried because of things I have heard about Aetna, but now I can focus on the surgery & weight loss 100%!  Any tips, advice anything are absolutely welcome!!!!!
