Hello, my name is Harry.  My wife, Kristina, had gastric bypass surgery on 2/14/04 (which happens to by my ex-wife's bday).  I begged her to change her surgery date but she didn't.  Kristina went from a size 24 down to a size 4.  She's now lost approximately 130lbs.

2006 has been a bad year for my wife.  On 12/2/05 she went into the hospital to have a hernia repaired and a tummy tuck down (while they where down there).  Little did she know that her abdomen was torn to shreds and that there many hernias not just one.  She went into Hopkins as an outpatient and didn't come home until 4 days later.  In Oct 2006 she had her Gall Bladder removed.  Fortunately, her surgeon was able to remove it lapriscopically.  I'm grateful to her surgeon (Dr. Henry Rosas).  He did his homework before he operated on her.  In November 2006 my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.  She had a lumpectomy on 12/6/06.  On 12/13/06 she was told that she had to undergo chemotherapy because she had premenoposal cancer and she was also triple negative (with respect to hormones).

I've signed up so that I can reach out on her behalf to other gastric bypass patientes who may have had breast cancer and had to do chemo.  I'm looking for as much feedback and advice as possible.
