Trying so hard not to give up

For the last 4 months, I have been re-commited to my band without seeing any progress on the scale. I have been going to my doc every 2-3 weeks for adjustments. I feel like I have good restriction and I am exercising 4-5 days a week. I can see some changes in my body but nothing is showing up on the scale. I am so frustrated. I know my body is getting healthier, but it seems ridiculous to not see the scale go down. I do not want to be 200lbs!!!!

Well, it has been 2 weeks since surgery. Things are going very well. The first week was great getting on the scale and losing 10lbs but the second week the scale hasn't moved. I know I should be happy, most of the time it is always going up so having it stay the same is not a failure. I must have lost the swelling because I am hungry now and able to eat much larger amounts than at the beginning BUT nothing like my portions prior to the band. I will need to be patient, I am in such a hurry to get under the 200 mark. I didn't gain it overnight so I can' tl lose it overnight!

I have been so excited and relaxed until this point. I can't believe I am electing to have surgery. I know this is right for me. I just need to get through this week. I can't wait to be on the losing side.
