I had my surgeryI

I have underwent all of the required evaluations,  including a 6 month physician monitored weight loss program.  I cut carbs, fat and calories, I took the shots, but not the pills as they keep me awake at night.  I lost a whopping 11 pounds!!!  With that being said, I finally have an appointment with Dr. Hata at Hickory Surgical Clinic on May 23rd.    My husband is very supportive, but I have not told any family or friends.  Why?  I am a very private person and I just figure it is none of their business, plus, I don't want to hear the negative comments that I know that they will make.  I am experiencing a variety of emotions right now: excited, apprehensive, anxious, fear, happiness and most of all pride (if you can consider that an emotion).  I am proud that I have the courage to take this huge step towards a journey that will change my life.
