Hi Hanna , i am sending you a get well soon wish. i hope that you will soon be out of hospital and home working on loseing that weight and becomeing the young thin lady you deserve to be. get well ok. i will keep you in my prayers.

Channel 5 did another update on the 10 oclock news. Hanna is out of the intensive care unit, she is no longer on the respirator. She is talking and communicating with her family. The family is now praying for her full recovery. As many of you know, Hanna is a extremely strong young woman, she is very courageous and determined and I for one believe she will make a full recovery and will be back with us as soon as she can. Today on the 5 oclock news the reporter said it appeared that Obesity Help.Com was like a family. And I said of course it is. This site has been instrumental to so many of us making it through the hard days and rejoycing on the good days. I'm proud to have had the surgery and to know everyone on this site. We will continue to pass along information on Hanna as we get it. But until then KEEP PRAYING!! Thanks, Denice

Thanks Ginger! I will post something as soon as I know more. Please keep her in your prayers. Hanna is such a wonderful person -- I wish I had the courage she has when I was her age. She has so much to live for I know that she will be healed and we will be seeing her name grace our pages once again. We miss you Hanna! Denice

Hanna needs prayers!!!!! Thanks to Denice, I just found out that Hanna had complications the week after surgery(2/13/04) while recovering at her mother's house in SD. Bleeding, infection and a colasped lung. I have been wondering why she hadn't sent an email lately. I have been desperately trying to find out more information, but because it was on the news, the hospital shows that she is not a patient. Grrrrrr. I have also been trying to get a hold of her mom with no luck. I will try and call her boyfriend tonight. As soon as I find anything out, I will let you all know. Hanna is only 20 years old and deserves a full life ahead of her as we all do. Please take a few minutes to keep her in your hearts and/or prayers. Hugs, Ginger

Hanna, Please know we are all praying for you! Many of us just saw the channel 5 report on you and were shock to hear of your complications. I feel so blessed for the time we shared before your surgery you taught me the true meaning of courage! I was able to go see Hanna at the hospital yesterday and she is doing fantastic. She is wide awake and came through the surgery with flying colors. Welcome to the losing side girlfriend. May your journey bring you everything your heart desires. Hugs, Ginger
