"I had a wonderful experience with this surgery. I have worked with surgeons for over 20 years (orthopaedics and trauma surgeons). I am a revisional patient with a RNY in 2001 so I needed to find someone with skills that I was comfortable with converting me to duodenal switch. I knew there could be some complications. Everything went well and he is very professional and I have no regrets from the surgery.
I travel about 100 miles south to see him and would not have changed a thing. The experience was wonderful. I have no issues from the surgery and I am down 104 pounds with no regrets.
In a few years from now when I am maintained my weight loss, I plan on going for plastic surgery and I may consider him for some procedures.
