Faxton - St Lukes Healthcare (COE)

"I received great care during my recent RNY. I liked that the nurses worked 12 hr shifts instead of 8's so you only had to change nurses once in a 24 hr period. I also liked how when you requested your meds or complained of pain the nurse was right there with a pill or phoneing for an order. I also appreciated being that the surgical wing is not just bypass patients I never once accidentally received a meal tray in error. The shower room was nice not having to shower in the shared bathroom was great. The staff could work on having another care aide during the day (too busy for all those patients) as I accidentally got left in the shower room when I had told her I needed help. Also I kept having to bug the nurses for more fluids as the care aide was running rampid. The toilet paper was too hard to get off the roll but the cleaning man fixed it when I mentioned it to him. Also was informed to bring bag and cpap machine when checking in but I only needed the mask and then noone goes back to original preop room so my husband had to haul stuff back out to car. Overall I would have to say that I would choose this hospital again for my care if the situation arised."
