Almost 3 months out from surgery

Well, I am almost 3 months out since my surgery, and I am happy with the weight loss I have had so far. Sometimes it seems like everyday is a struggle to not eat or drink something I am not supposed to, but for the most part, it is going pretty good.
We have been cycling now since July 4th. We completed 168 miles the month of July, and am on my way to that now for August. I completed a 20 miles bike ride held in Jasper on August 5th, and let me tell you I was so proud of finishing it. I have planned a trip to Northern Indiana on Sept. 21, and 22 to meet some people from the lapband site and we are riding in a ride on the 22.
I am so excited and nervous at the same time about meeting new people, but I know it will be fine.
My doct has been a godsend and his nurses have taken care of everything I need. His bed side manner is wonderful, and I am pleased to go visit him every 4 weeks......
