Hello, All.
I recently had LapBand surgery in Mexico. I researched the facility and doctors thoroughly and regardless of some misconceptions, I had a wonderful experience. I am now home and in need of a fill; however, all the bariatric docs I have contacted refuse to take me as a new patient as I am considered a liability risk to their insurance. Does anyone know of a doc willing to take me on? My ins does not cover any weight related issues (thus, my decision to go out of the country for 1/2 the price), so I would be paying out of pocket - not sure if that makes a difference. Thanks.
