4 Week Update

Well, I am officially 4 Weeks Post Op. A nice milestone for today is I no longer have to crush pills and mix them with stuff, which was bothersome to me because I have issues with textures.

I have been on an antibiotic since Friday night for this pain. My surgeon thinks it might be an internal infection that is not showing on blood work. The pain is still very much there, but not a constant pain, same severity though. So I guess that is progress.

However, if I bend, lay on my side, cough, sneeze or throw up it hurts like f'ing hell.

Still having major issues keeping foods that I should be eatting down. I did find the Ranch Grilled Chicken Snack Wrap at McDonalds settled well, I think I ate ¾ of the chicken and barely touched the tortilla before getting full.

The other night we made Meatloaf, Augratin Potatoes, & Sweet Peas. Jason came over and had dinner with us. I had to force myself to throw up 30 minutes later because I think the meatloaf got stuck, it was hurting very badly.

Starting two days ago I’ve been making myself a 4 ounce bowl of Bush’s Baked Beans and those seem to settle well, I can’t seem to eat the full 4 ounces though.

I am sitting at 204 pounds as of 8-11-09 so that’s a total of 23 pounds lost in 4 weeks. My boobs have gone down 2 cup sizes and my clothes are all baggy on me. I refuse to buy new clothes though. I may check out Good Will though.

Friday I’ll be busy on my day off, I see my PCP about my seizure and for 4 week bloodwork at 10am, I see my surgeon for my 4 week check up and pain issues at 11:30am and then I have to take the kids to WIC at 2:30pm. Ugh, so much for a day off! I never can catch a break!

Apparently we are having a Class of 1999 Reunion, I’m interested in going but they are really slacking on putting out the details and it’s supposedly the last weekend in September and September will be a busy month with Ariana’s 3^rd Birthday September 15^th! We are having her party Saturday, September 12^th.

But yeah, I’m hoping to be under 200 by first day of school August 24^th….can I do it? We shall see!
