From as far back as I can remember, I've always been the "chunky" one. As I got older, chunky turned to big-boned, and big-boned turned to heavy.

I've always been active. I played tennis in high school, worked out and walked many of miles when I was in college, and I joined a gym almost as soon as I started my first real job after college. All the while, never losing the weight. I became frustrated, and upset with myself. No matter what I did, I always contradicted my work by overeating.

I started researching Lap-Band over a year ago and attended my first seminar with Dr. Robert Davis. Finally, a tool that could help me lose the weight and keep it off! I then started asking co-workers about their experiences with Lap-Band, and their successes were amazing.

I started my nutrition/diet counseling in September 2007, and learned so much about what I was doing wrong and started making changes immediatley. I found out in March 2008 that I had been approved by insurance for my surgery and am scheduled for surgery April 2, 2008!

I'm so excited and look forward to the beginning of a new life! I will update, once I have more to share!

Thanks for reading,
Holly
