October 17, 2005 was my new birthday. I had the gastric lap band surgery. I originally lost 81 pounds but now it is 71 pounds because my band is totally empty and has been now for the past 6 months only because of GERD. I look at myself now and can't believe its me again. I look and feel beautiful. I am so happy that I did the surgery.
