"Dr Andrei is an excellent surgeon. I've had 2 surgeries with him so I feel I can offer a solid opinion in this area. I had heard numerous positive references of him from my co-workers and I was actually jealous that he wasn't my bariatric doctor at that time. In March 2008 I had a LapBand inserted (by another dr). Unfortunately, within 3 years, it failed and it was removed. Dr Andrei was the only dr. who would handle my LapBand revision. The first surgery I had was a hiatal hernia repair in July 2011 and I received excellent care in the hospital. It was determined that the LapBand replacement couldn't be done. Dr Andrei recommended a Gastric Sleeve which he performed in Feb 2012. I couldn't be happier! Words cannot begin to describe my gratitude to Dr Andrei. His expertise made my recovery a breeze. And his staff is great. My rule of thumb has always been: if the staff is kind, caring, and compassionate then there's an excellent chance the dr. behind them is too. "
